The Zodiac Reveals Sexual and Romantic Attractions

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Most of us would agree that attraction is some kind of energy or
magnetism between two people, but very few of us understand how
to read these attractions.

Yet, we are even delighted, elated, and often overwhelmed by
some attractions. They seem impossible to resist, let alone
understand. Even when we know the consequences of engaging an
attraction that can be devastating to our lives, we may proceed
anyway. this is when the attraction can be "fatal."

Is this some kind of madness, or is there a simple answer for
"losing it" with another person?

The answer lies in the heavens and the "psychic sky" within us.

No doubt you have heard and read about that ancient statement
"As Above So Below." But, to be honest, so few of us understand
what this really means.

The psychic sky is that world within you that reflects
the celestial pattern of the signs and planets at the moment you
were born. This means that these energies are within you and are
expressed in the daily drama of your life. Therefore, romantic
attractions are based on how the Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars in
your psyche relate to the Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars in another
person's psyche.

While this idea may astound and even seem absurd to some of you,
it proves to be quite accurate when you investigate its validity
through astrology.

A quick and simple way to determine if there is a romantic
attraction between you and another person is to realize that
planets are desires and signs are attitudes. When
your desires and attitudes are in harmony with the other
person's desires and attitudes, there is romantic harmony.

This harmony is determined by the sign position of the planets
in your birth chart. As you may know signs are composed of fire,
earth, air and water energies. When the planets of both parties
are in harmonious elements, a happy relationship is possible.
For instance, air signs are favorable to fire, and water signs
are favorable to earth but not to fire and air.

Sexual harmony is based on the relationship of Venus and Mars in
each person's chart. I have seen examples of intense sexual
attraction between two people when the Venus of one person is in
the same sign as the Mars of the other. these energies are even
more intense when we find Pluto in the same sign as the other
person's Venus or Mars.

There are many other patterns which explain the mystery of our
attractions. But this information should be enough to help you
understand what is going on in the background of your
relationship.

A skilled astrologer can explain how all these complex energies
work in your relationship with others.

The 5 Weirdest Washington State Attractions

Image : http://www.flickr.com

America's Pacific North West is home to pristine natural beauty, world class attractions and delicious West Coast cuisine.

Well, we completely avoided any of that, and headed straight for Washington's most bizarre and off-beat places. To us, weird is wonderful, and we hope you think so too.

1. Self Kicking Machine: Rockport, Washington

For those who enjoy self inflicting pain, Rockport's Self Kicking apparatus just might be your life's calling. Just point your rear end at the four rotating boots, give the crank a spin, and let the punishment begin. Who knew kicking your own butt could be so much fun?

If you still haven't had enough of a beating, turn around and give your front side a go. The women will stand up to the pain, but it will leave the men speaking an octave higher all the way home.

2. Historic Nuclear B Reactor: Hanford Nuclear Reservations Site, Washington

Nothing says romance like a visit to the world's first nuclear reactor. You won't be able to pick daisies for your lover here though; the ground here is so contaminated flower picking is actually illegal.

That said, a visit to the Nuclear B Reactor and its surrounding sites (9 nuclear reactors, plenty of radioactive ghost towns, and an 11 million ton nuclear waste dump) still make for a lovely radioactive afternoon. It is too bad you'll need an American passport to see it.

Future plans for the site include haunted Halloween tours, historical re-enactments and even novelty nuclear weddings. Plutonium wedding rings not included.

3. Marsh's Free Museum: Long Beach, Washington

Along the sprawling retail strip lining Long Beach, you'll come across this wacky gem of a museum. A 40 year fixture of the area, a journey inside reveals a truly bizarre array of antiques, including shrunken heads, an 8 legged lamb and a cast iron sausage stuffer.

The star attraction however, is the infamous Jake the Alligator man. Half man, half gator, you'll shudder at the sight of this reptilian beast, petrified and preserved for your viewing pleasure.

If you want a little more of the weird, just head across the street to the world's largest frying pan. At almost 10 feet in diameter, it's big enough to cook up even Jake himself. Gator Man, it's what's for dinner.

4. Nutty Narrows Squirrel Bridge: Longview Washington

Pacific Way was once a death trap for Longview's squirrel population. As they attempted to manoeuvre across the busy intersection, they were all too often struck by passing vehicles. It may have very well been Washington's Road Kill Capital.

Endeavouring to end the Squirrel slaughter, town resident Amos Peters spearheaded the construction of the Nutty Narrows Squirrel Bridge, which links the tall trees adjacent to the public library, to those on the opposite side of Pacific Way.

A town fixture since the 1960's (and later since restored in 1983), its nuts to think about the number of squirrel lives this mighty crossing has saved.

5. Archie McPhee Store: Seattle Washington

Enter the Archie McPhee madness, and take your pick from the menagerie of pop culture kitsch including Tiki collectibles, radioactive caution bags and hula girl dashboard toppers.

Sure, you could order things like full-size latex mummies, monster robots, and Jesus action figures over the web, but Archie McPhees is the only store where you can experience them all in the same place.

Put simply, this is retail therapy for the weird, the wacky and the downright insane.

What Are Thailand's Main Tourist Attractions and Activities?

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Bangkok

Most people spend a few days in the Thai capital, but many find the pollution, traffic congestion and chaotic street life extremely wearing. There's plenty to take you off the street, however, including the glittering Grand Palace compound and its beautiful gigantic Reclining Buddha; the comprehensively stocked National Museum; the massive Chatuchak weekend market; with over eight thousand different nightlife that suns the full range from cutting-edge clubs to depressing strip joints.

Beaches

Thailand's beaches are among the world's best. You'll find the most developed and expensive resorts, and some of the finest sands, on the islands of Ko Samui and Phuket, while backpakers tend to head for the more budget oriented Ko Pha Ngan, Ko Tao, Ko Lanta and Ko Mook. Krabi's Railay beaches are nothing short of stunning, Ko Samet makes and easy and economical break from Bangkok and Ko Chang is handy for travelers heading in and out of Cambodia.

Trekking

Unlike the organized treks in the Himalayas, Thailand's "hill-tribe treks" focus on the ethnic-minority villages that you walk to, rather than on the walking itself or the scenery. The hill tribes live way out in the sticks, but their villages are connected by tracks, so the hiking is not difficult. Most treks last two to four days and feature nights in the villages, as well as an elephant ride and river rafting. The main trekking centres are the northern cities of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, but routes out of both are hugely over subscribed, so it's better to start from Mae Hing Sin, Pai, Kanchanaburi or Umphang instead, where trails are quieter and more rewarding.

The ruined former capitals of Sukhothai and Ayutthaya

Dating from the thirteen century, Sukhothai is a beautiful example og thoughtful city planning enlivened by lakes and elegant statues of the Buddha. The 300-year-old temples and palaces of Ayutthaya display a refined mix of Hindu and Buddhist sculpture and are fun to explore by bicycle. Both sets of ruins are now conserved as historical parks. There are plenty of sobering World War II sights in the town, as well as reasonable range of trekking, rafting and cycle options that make the most or the fine river scenery, plus some appealing rafthouse accommodation too.

Kanchanaburi

Sited on the banks of the River Kwai, the town is most famous for its role as a POW camp in World War II and for its bridge, whose destruction by the Allied Forces was immortalized in Davis Lean's movie. There are plenty of sobering World War II sights in the town, as well as a reasonable range of trekking, rafting and cycling options that make the most of the fine river scenery, plus some appealing rafthouse accommodation too

Khao Sok National Park

Here you can sleep in a tree house under limestone karst, wake to the sound ogf the hooting gibbons, and take an adventure tour via waterlogged caves and jungles trails to a lake

The ancient Khmer temple of Phanom Rung

This exquisite pink sandstone complex was built in the tenth century as a blueprint for the Angkor temples across the border in Cambodia

Thai massage

Enjoy a traditional massage at Bangkok's Wat Pho temple, then learn the techniques yourself at a course in Bangkok or Chiang Mai.

Snorkelling and diving off the remote Similan Island

The turquoise water, powdery sands and banks of coral are regularly visited by sharks, rays and turtles

The Mae Hong Song loop

Hire a motor bike and spend as many days as you can spare on the circular 600-kilometre route through the glorious upland scenery of the remote northwest

Kayaking along the Krabi coastline

An exhilarating way of exploring the spectacularly craggy outcrops and remote uninhabited islands of the south west-coast

Sang Khom

It's great to just chill out in this idyllis tree-shaded little town on the Mekong river, where you can hire bicycles to visit traditional local villages and mess about on the water in inner tubes and dugout canoes

Pai

This laid back north-Thai town has a distinct New Age air and is the perfect place to take some courses in alternative therapies, browse the art shops and arrange a trek.

Full-moon beach party

Join the hordes for the monthly full-moon parties on Ko Pha Ngan, an infamous back-packers' beach rave attracts up to 30,000 clubbers.

Not-To-Be-Missed Disney Attractions

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Even though all of Disney's locations are fabulous and should be a part of everyone's childhood at one point or another, there are certain attractions that simply cannot be missed! Whether in their Florida or California locations, each have special and unique attractions that are sure to please! Whether you're a shoe-in for the classic attractions or if you prefer the new-fangled rides and attractions, Disney has something for everyone.

A truly successful attraction takes you from your life and transports you to the place and time of the attraction. Take "Finding Nemo" for example, at Disneyland in Anaheim. You get into a yellow submarine to experience the world from Nemo's point of view. As the submarine sinks deeper into the water, you can view what it's like to live under the sea and be a part of the drama that unfolds. It is a true escape from reality. The graphics and technology in the Star Tours ride is second to none. Once strapped in to the spaceship-like cabin's passenger seat, you're taken into deep space where you'll feel every bump, acceleration, and nosedive in this hair-raising adventure!

A Disney classic that is also a favorite of mine is Space Mountain. Even though they've newly completed its renovation, it is even better than before! Just when you think the ride is over, another sharp turn in the dark caverns takes you by surprise. I love it every time! Another classic that many tout as the best ride ever made is the Pirates of the Caribbean. Before the movie even was even a wink of an idea, this ride captivated guests with its comical and dark plot along with its boat-style ride and true-to-life scenery. I never miss this one when I visit Disneyland! My third favorite classis is another ride found at Disneyland in Anaheim: the Haunted Mansion. I still can't figure out how they get those ghosts to dance about on the ballroom dance floor or to appear next to you in the mirror you look into as the ride ends! Truly genius!

If you're visiting Disney's California Adventure or Disney's Hollywood Studios, you'll definitely want to check out the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. This titillating combination of a scary tale and a freefalling ride makes for a ride you'll never forget! With so many unexpected twists and turns in the plot and the ride, you'll feel a part of the story the moment you set foot inside. Another favorite at California Adventure and Epcot is Disney's Soarin' Over California attraction. With the feeling of actually soaring over the various landscapes that make California so unique, you can't help but want to go on this one again and again!

Maybe you're ready for a short one-day trip to one of Disney's Florida or California locations. Or, perhaps you're ready to take the plunge and stay at one of Disney's Resorts and spend a week exploring the parks and their surroundings. Either way, you're sure to find that Disney's attractions will leave you breathless and feelings like you've just stepped out of reality and into "The Happiest Place on Earth"!

City Pass Seattle Offers Great Price for Popular Attractions

Image : http://www.flickr.com

If you are contemplating a trip to Seattle to take in the Cities sites, attractions and nightlife then you should think about purchasing a City Pass. City Passes are a great way to really visit a City at more then half the price everyone else will pay. With a City Pass you will get to see the most popular attractions, rides, and fun spots throughout the city at a fraction of the cost. You will also get to ride the public transportation system for free! So now you can save big while enjoying the city and living large.

Museum of Flight

At the Museum of flight you will really enjoy yourself as the history of flight comes to life right before you eyes. This museum has a wonderful array of fun activities to offer for every age. You can do things like touring the original Air Force One jet or sit yourself behind a modern day jet flight simulator. You will find yourself entrenched and amazed as you explore the history of both personal and military flight. It is so much fun that the admission price is well worth it but remember with the city pass you are getting a great deal and paying only a fraction of what everyone else. Even at the full price this is still a recommended attraction.

Try Out The Seattle Harbor Tour

This is a must stop on your tour of Seattle. This is an hour long tour of the Seattle bay. It is one of the more elaborate and exciting tours that should be on your itinerary. This cruise is offered by Argosy Cruises and it will point out all of the major features of Seattle Bay and it is great fun. If you want you can upgrade your tickets and still get a great discount on any of the other packages or cruises that Argosy Cruises offers. However, it is recommended if you have never been out to sea that you try a shorter trip the first time out.

Woodland Park Zoo

The Woodland Park Zoo is known for its natural looking and enjoyable exhibits. In fact the zoo has won many prestigious awards for its exhibits. There is so much to do and see here at the zoo that this can easily be a whole day adventure for any family. In fact that is what I would recommended is that you take a whole day and while you are there why not take a stroll next door to the beautiful Rose Garden. This is a free side trip as it doesn't cost anything to view the roses but it is a wonderful experience and it goes well with the Woodland Park Zoo.

Try out the Pacific Science Center for more great fun!

The Pacific Science Center has everything that you heart could desire for a Science Center. This includes fun things like video games and laser tag along with wonderful exhibits. There are so many things to do here also like many of the other attractions. They have many permanent exhibits like the saltwater tide pool where the little ones can stick their hands in and touch and feel sea creatures. They also have a wonderful Dinosaur exhibit that would make any boy excited even us Big one. There is also a wonderful tropical butterfly house and an extensive insect village that you should stop and see.

Seattle Aquarium

Look into life under the sea and the many salt water and fresh water creatures that can be found in and around the Puget Sound. This will be a highlight for everyone in your group I can almost guarantee.

If any of these or most of these is appealing to you and/or those you are traveling with, then purchasing a city pass is probably a wise investment. Even if you don't visit all of the attractions, you can save money by visiting a few.
